Mohamed Safi moved to Canada from Saudi Arabia in 1984. He has been training as an actor at the EVN Television and Film Studio in Toronto, since 1998. He has appeared in several independent projects such as American Soldiers, Junkie in the Sky and the series Masterminds. |
Philip Kerr
Philip’s varied career has taken him from opera to plays, musical theatre to television. He has performed in theatres across Canada, the U.S and Great Britain. His long association with Les Miserables, provided him with several hundred performances as the hero Jean Valjean, at The Royal Alexandra Theatre, on tour and at the Palace Theatre in London’s West End. Other stage credits include Gus the theatre at in CATS (U.K.Tour) Marcel in Aspects of Love(Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich England) ,Ralph in H.M.S. Pinafore(Sunshine Theatre Festival, Orillia), Curate in Out of the Blue(Shaftesbury Theatre, London West End) Herr Zeller in The Sound of Music(Theatre Aquarius, Hamilton) and The Odd Couple by Neil Simon and the North American premiere of Things We Do For Love by Alan Ayckbourne, both for The Stage West Theatre Restaurant in Mississauga. On television Philip can be seen in the Tenth anniversary production of Les Miserables, recorded live at The Royal Albert Hall, as Mr Tompkins, the grocer, in the ABC/Disney television adaptation of Meredith Wilson’s The Music Man, starring Matthew Broderick, and episodes of Queer as Folk and the docu-drama Mayday for The Discovery Channel in which he portrays Captain Paul Philips.
